Basic Skateboarding Tricks for Mini Ramps
Here are some cool skating tricks I wanted to share. Try them out!
Rock and Roll
The rock and roll skateboarding trick is a great mini ramp lip trick that can be performed on a quarterpipe, halfpipe, or any other ramp. The rock and roll is similar to a rock to fakie, but incorporated a 180 pivot out at the end on like the rock to fakie which you go in backwards.
Axle Stalls
Learn how to axle stall on a skateboard in these step by step how to axle stall instructions. The axle stall is a skateboarding trick performed on a quarterpipe of mini ramp. The skater rides up the ramp and, right at the top edge of the ramp, he or she stops for a moment in mid-turn, with his or her skateboard trucks perched right on the edge. Axle stalls are a great trick to add into your ramp bag-of-tricks.
Nose Stall
The nose stall is a great easier stall to learn. The nose stall is where, basically, you ride or ollie up to an obstacle and catch the edge of the obstacle with the nose of your board - balance there for a minute and then ride off. The nose stall is also a great trick to tweak and add to later.
Indy Grab
The Indy Grab is probably the easiest grab trick in skateboarding, and the most common grab in both skateboarding and snowboarding. The Indy grab can be done in both vert and street skateboarding, but you usually see it done on ramps.
